Ieri sera al Porto Antico Genova Tribute Festival dedicato a Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Genesis e PFM. Sul palco tre gruppi molto bravi: Outside the Wall, Led'n'Roll e Beggar's Farm con i superospiti Bernardo Lanzetti (cantante PFM) e Jonathan Noyce (bassista Jethro Tull). Filmatino d'obbligo con un assaggio di quello che è stato un bellissimo concerto.
Finalmente ho trovato questo mitico pezzo dei Deep Purple sul Tubo. Da ascoltare ed assaporare alla stregua di un brano classico (avete presente Francesco: "varcata la soglia dò sfogo alla mia turpe voglia ascolto Bach" :-D)

Ho trovato questa mitica song dei New Trolls e devo assolutamente postarla. Uno splendido esempio di prog italiano inciso quando il gruppo era in piena fase creativa e non proponeva solo...canzonette!
Ecco un altro gruppo tra i miei preferiti, i Blue Oyster Cult. Il loro Extraterrestrial Live è stato un capolavoro degli anni 80. Se aggiungiamo poi questo bellissimo video di Don't Fear The Reaper preso da Youtube otterremo una miscela...esplosiva!

Dopo il corteo, lo spettacolo teatrale di Dario Fo, il siparietto teatrale di Franca Rame e le opinioni di esponenti dei Comitati No-Dal Molin la giornata di manifestazione contro l'espansione della base militare americana a Vicenza si è conclusa con la musica.
Il gruppo musicale più atteso e rumoroso è stato quello dei Punkreas, che con un live da 35 minuti hanno protestato a modo loro contro le mire bellicose degli americani.

Ratzinger, lui, il capo delle centinaia di milioni di cattolici che popolano il mondo, colui le cui parole potrebbero influire sull’opinione pubblica americana nel senso di “catalizzatore di opinioni di pace” , se la prende col rock. Sottocultura che “non forma” il futuro padre di famiglia “cristiano”.
Le parole a “favore “ della famiglia ci riportano sempre all’idea di un mix tra il presepe e il mulino bianco. Famiglia, i cui destini sono spesso legati alle contingenze di quel “mercato globale” disumanizzante e disumanizzato, che, cattolica, si aspetterebbe dal papa (forse) qualche parola contro un sistema che costringe genitori e bambini a convivere nella ristrettezza economica e temporale che condanna alla reciproca solitudine e al consumismo (e ai debiti) come antidoto antidepressivo.
